Leaning in While I Lean Out

The theory of women "leaning in" came about when I was pregnant. How naive I was to think I would always want my career needs and goals over just one more night at home my child. That I wouldn't cry on my way to the airport at the thought of leaving my little love for a week. That she would be fine without me, and I without her.

Since having my precious baby girl, I have been trying to figure out just how to Lean In, while I lean out. It's a constant balancing act.

Origination

The origination of this blog goes back many months and even a few years. All of these stories have been cooped up in my head and need an outlet. If for nothing else to get it off of my chest and maybe one day more importantly...for the world to see what a workin' Mama goes through. For her job, for her family, for her sanity. Keep reading. Many of these stories will be a flash back to a previous date ~ but I will always give the background story, where, when, etc.
